CADpay

1. Scope

These Terms of Use govern the use of the CADpay platform (“Platform”).

The Platform is operated by:

(“Operator”)

CADpay enables architects, engineers and related professionals (“Contributors”) to upload architectural and building datasets for review and potential licensing.


2. Eligibility

You may use the Platform only if:

  • You are at least 18 years old, and
  • You have the legal right to upload the submitted files.

3. Submitted Content

By submitting files, you confirm and warrant that:

  • You are the author or rights holder of the submitted content, or otherwise legally entitled to upload it
  • All personal data, client data and confidential information have been fully removed
  • The submitted files do not infringe any third-party rights

The Operator does not perform a legal ownership verification in advance. Responsibility remains solely with the Contributor.


4. Review and Acceptance

All submissions are reviewed manually.
The Operator reserves the right to reject submissions at its sole discretion, in particular if files are incomplete, unusable, or violate these Terms.

There is no entitlement to acceptance.


5. License Grant

If a dataset is approved, the Contributor grants the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the submitted files for:

  • Data analysis
  • Research and development
  • AI training, testing and evaluation
  • Licensing to third parties for research or technological purposes

The Contributor remains the copyright holder at all times.


6. Compensation

Approved datasets may be compensated with up to €10 per dataset.

The amount, eligibility and payment method (e.g. bank transfer or PayPal) are determined by the Operator.
No payment is owed for rejected submissions.


7. Prohibited Use

Submitted datasets may not be used by third parties for:

  • Direct construction
  • Replication of buildings
  • Resale as architectural plans or construction documents

8. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided “as is”.
The Operator does not guarantee acceptance, compensation, availability, or commercial success.


9. Liability

The Operator is liable only for intent and gross negligence, except where mandatory liability applies under German law.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
